As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. You will communicate professionally with visitors, drivers, and team members while supporting a secure, organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers at a logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle access records, and communicate access concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.43 / Hour

Schedule: Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
