Security Officer Part Time Access Monitoring

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a retail and mall location in Little Rock, AR, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors and employees. You will communicate clearly, document security-related incidents, and remain visible to help deter unauthorized access.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, maintaining visitor logs, and following established access-control procedures.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other access-control equipment; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $14.75 / Hour

Schedule

• Part Time
• Daytime
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
