About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. Your visible presence and clear communication will help support a secure, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a retail distribution location; verify authorized access for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-related logs, visitor records, and incident documentation; communicate unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
