As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values through teamwork and integrity.
Pay
$15.12 / Hour
Schedule
- Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and document entries, exits, and security-related incidents in accordance with site policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Support a professional food and beverage production environment by observing established access-control, traffic-flow, and facility rules.
Minimum Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
