Security Officer Part Time Access Control

About the role
As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional front-desk customer service to visitors, patients, employees, and contractors at a healthcare location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
- Monitor access points, manage incoming calls and deliveries, and direct individuals to appropriate departments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Observe and report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$20.23 - $21.23 / Hour
Schedule
- Friday: 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
