Security Officer Part Time Access Control

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access‑related records.
• Respond to incidents, access‑related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, production‑area access routes, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report security‑related conditions, damaged access‑control equipment, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants with criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$14.00 per hour

Schedule

• Friday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
• Saturday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM – 08:00 PM
