About the role

As a Security Officer Overnights Full Time in Perrysburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors entering designated areas using approved access-control and screening processes.
• Inspect packages, bags, personal belongings, and/or vehicles as permitted by site procedures, and report prohibited items or irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
