Security Officer - Overnight Warehouse Patrol

About the role

Apart from providing security services to clients in various tech and telecom industries, you will also support daily operations by completing routine reports, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related questions or concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors while carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying credentials when required, and following site protocols for deliveries, guests, and vendors.
• Support daily operations by completing routine reports, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related questions or concerns in a professional manner.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience is required, or a college degree is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
