Security Officer - Warehouse - Overnight Shift

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Screener, where you will monitor access points, screen visitors, team members, and/or materials, and maintain a visible presence that helps support a protected environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with site protocols, documenting screening-related activity and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to address security-related concerns and/or access control issues.
• Maintain a visible presence by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and other designated parts of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining attentive to unusual activity, operational disruptions, and/or potential policy violations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
