Security Officer On-Call

About the role

Loews Hollywood Hotel seeks a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to ensure a secure and worry-free environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain access control to team member entrances and respond to emergencies.
• Execute regular patrols, inspect packages, and document incidents.
• Monitor CCTV systems, manage lost and found items, and facilitate communication with management.
• Support health and safety training initiatives and interact professionally with guests.
• Document and report security incidents and enforce hotel policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel security or a related field (1-3 years preferred).
• Basic first-aid certification or ability to administer first aid.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of security systems, safety regulations, and emergency response protocols.
• Experience using CCTV systems and other security technology.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in report writing and documentation.
• Additional certifications in security training, conflict resolution, or emergency response.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

The wage for this position is $33.20.
