Security Officer, On Call ($19.00/HR) - Mehoopany, PA

Responsibilities

• Personally monitors assigned areas, including roving inside the facilities, roving in a vehicle, and other locations.
• Ensures safety and compliance by observing and de-escalating situations.
• Examines and secures doors, windows, and other areas.
• Reports and records data related to property damage, unusual occurrences, and other incidents.
• Handles logistics for incoming and outgoing traffic, including issuing and recording ID badges.
• Maintains and monitors safety and life support systems.
• Notifies supervisors if safety and sanitation standards are not being met.
• Performs other duties pertinent to the department or unit's success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two (2) years of security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• A valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years preferred.
• Ability to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers, and clients.
• Ability to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, push, pull, use hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch for 8-12 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs.
• Safety orientation due to the nature of the position.
