Security Officer Non-Driving Part Time Patrol

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in logistics and distribution industries, you will also contribute to a culture that positively impacts the communities and customers we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence, assist with directional questions, and report maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
