Security Officer Part Time Driving Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response support at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and report policy violations, hazards, or maintenance concerns according to post instructions.
• Support daily operations by observing equipment areas, high-traffic workspaces, and restricted locations for security-related issues while following client-facing service standards and site policies.

Requirements

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
