Security Officer - Night Shift

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, shipping, parking, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Support a clean and professional location by maintaining visible presence, following post orders, and preparing accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or disturbances.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
