Security Officer - Multiple Shifts

About the role

As a Surveillance Flex Security Officer in Memphis, TN / Olive Branch, MS, you will monitor security systems from screens, spot threats before they escalate, and work in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. Strong observation skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
• Possess a state license if required

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17 - $17.50 (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees)

Schedule

Flex schedule: must be able to work all shifts – 1st shift (6 am‑2 pm), 2nd shift (2 pm‑10 pm), 3rd shift (10 pm‑6 am); various work schedules.
