Security Officer - Multiple Shifts

About the Role

Allied Universal is hosting a Security Officer Hiring Event on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, from 10am-3pm at Holiday Inn Toledo-Maumee (1705 Tollgate Dr., Maumee, OH 43537). We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions, including unarmed and armed Security Officers.

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• For driving positions, a valid driver’s license is required.
• For armed roles, an OPOTA license and 1+ years of security experience are required.

Pay

• Unarmed: $15–$20 per hour
• Armed: $20.50–$23 per hour
