Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, aircraft-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor and contractor entry processes.
- Complete accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
