As a Security Officer – Full Time – Mornings in Wausau, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork‑focused, and integrity‑driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the dairy production location, warehouse areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report irregular conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Support site‑specific food and beverage facility protocols by reporting damaged doors, lighting issues, spills, or other conditions that may require attention.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
