Security Officer Morning Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
