Security Officer Mobile Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Mobile Driver in Quincy, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. This part-time position offers flexibility with the ability to build a schedule that works for you and explore additional roles using the Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store personnel, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to location procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for security-related concerns such as suspicious activity, access control issues, hazards, and policy violations, and report observations to appropriate store contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while providing a professional, visible presence in a high-traffic retail environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
