About the role

As a Security Officer Military Police Armed Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
  • Monitor access points and help to confirm that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas, following post orders for visitor processing and credential checks.
  • Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site requirements, maintaining professional presence and readiness during patrols and incident response.

Requirements

  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirements include an armed guard card or license, a valid driver’s license for driving positions only, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
