As a Security Officer Armed Security Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service.

Pay

$22.50 per hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and other security-related documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
