Security Officer Armed Security Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter while maintaining an armed presence that may help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and employee activity according to site policies and security-related procedures.
• Prepare clear, detailed reports on incidents, patrol activity, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervisors and/or client representatives.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Must possess a valid driver's license for driving positions.
