What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and support site protocols for staff, patients, and guests.
• Aid in security-related responses involving patient assistance, visitor concerns, and/or hospital-related operational issues while maintaining professional communication and customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
