Security Officer Foot Patrol - Part Time

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support guests, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a hotel and resort setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, hallways, guest-facing areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, report suspicious behavior, and provide assistance to guests and staff as needed.
• Communicate with site contacts, management, and/or local responders when appropriate regarding incidents, guest concerns, and other security-related matters.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
