Job Description
As a Security Officer Entry Verification in Lathrop, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security-related concerns with strong communication and integrity. - Day: Wed 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Thur 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor screening, credential checks, and/or other security-related policies at a food and beverage location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and office areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
- Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, while communicating clearly with employees, contractors, drivers, and guests regarding entry procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
