Security Officer Manufacturing Facility

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Manufacturing & Industrial, you will also support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols.
• Support incident reporting, follow post orders, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols or while assigned to the location.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
