What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, assisting with directions and access-related questions as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and security-related information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
