Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Jersey City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver's license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Possession of a guard card/license (preferred).

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $22.45 / Hour. Full Time. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
