Security Officer Logistics Center Full Time

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location in Oceanside, CA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, dock doors, employee entrances, trailer storage areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and help verify that visitors, vendors, and authorized personnel follow site entry and credentialing requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Pay

$18.35 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
