Security Officer Full Time Logistics

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Audit in Keasbey, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents through a visible presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, business facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch personnel, delivery drivers, and site management regarding access restrictions, traffic flow, and security-related incidents.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
