Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to observe customer and employee activity, assist with access-related concerns, and document security-related incidents according to site procedures.
- Work with local management and/or first responders during medical events, alarms, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns while following Allied Universal standards and post instructions.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Qualifications
- Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
