Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating appropriate emergency response activities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site policies and government location requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or security-related concerns through detailed reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or public agency contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Possess a college degree.
• Provide proof of high school diploma/GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
