What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic public spaces, verifying credentials, observing foot traffic, and reporting policy violations and/or suspicious behavior.
- Support security-related procedures involving opening and closing activities, cash-handling transit areas, and after-hours coverage while maintaining professionalism and attention to post orders.
Minimum Requirements
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
