Security Officer Armed Rover Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Rover Patrol in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and follow site protocols for entry, exit, and/or property-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activity in required reports and share timely updates regarding security-related matters at the location.

Requirements

• An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for armed roles.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
