Security Officer - Key Control

About the role

As an Access Control Security Professional in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and help address security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific access control procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in processes, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Respond to access control alarms, unauthorized entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entryways, restricted areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate access-related concerns, policy violations, and incidents to site leadership, Allied Universal management, and appropriate emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: Monday 06:00 PM – 05:00 AM
• Tuesday 06:00 PM – 05:00 AM
• Wednesday 06:00 PM – 05:00 AM
