Security Officer Full Time Key Control

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Key Control in Gretna, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and maintaining visitor and contractor records.
• Monitor inbound and outbound truck traffic, driver check-in processes, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
