Security Officer Identity Verification

About the Role

As a Security Officer Identity Verification in WEST POINT, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial environments. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to maintain a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and supporting security-related operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel.
• Maintain accurate access logs, issue and retrieve visitor badges and/or access credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Access control/badge experience (preferred).
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
