Job Description

As a Security Officer State Licensed Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering the chance to support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and a reliable, people-first approach grounded in teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with location protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support security-related operations at a logistics and distribution location by observing package movement areas, reporting hazards or policy concerns, and assisting with order throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
