About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Checkpoints in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with residents and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, greet visitors, verify authorization as required, and maintain visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Complete daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and shift information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Thursday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
