Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Response in Grove City, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as healthcare and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to evolving needs with professionalism. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• X‑Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.00 per hour

Schedule

Daytime: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Saturday – Sunday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
