Security Officer - Hospital Emergency Response

About the role

As a Security Officer Hospital Emergency Response in Portsmouth, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare environments. You will monitor and patrol a dynamic medical location, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional service and communication. This role involves responding to security-related concerns, assisting with access control, and collaborating with onsite teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• At least 21 years of age (18 for unarmed roles).
• Ability to restrain individuals, as needed.
• At least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.00 / hour

• Thursday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Friday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Saturday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
