Security Officer Hospital - Armed

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• High school diploma or verifiable high school diploma or GED (certificates of completion not acceptable)
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required

Skills

• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Must have great customer service skills
• Security experience: 6+ months
