As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communication, and response support while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control procedures, and directions throughout the healthcare location.
• Maintain required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Hold a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Schedule: Saturday 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM, Sunday 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM
