As a Security Officer Armed - Hospital in Denmark, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and vendor entry procedures while reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support incident documentation and communication by preparing clear reports, relaying pertinent information, and/or assisting public responders and facility leadership during medical and non-medical events.
Requirements
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
