About the role

As a Security Officer High School in Southold, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned school district areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• State, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Full-time, daytime shifts
• Monday – Friday: 07:30 AM – 03:30 PM
