About the role

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Your professional presence will help support a secure, welcoming environment while addressing security-related concerns and following site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk of a financial institution by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Greet visitors, employees, and vendors; verify access credentials; issue visitor badges; and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility and direct visitors to appropriate areas while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
