Security Officer Grounds Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Grounds Patrol in ALA MOANA, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Support retail loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with incident response, and communicating professionally with store leadership and local responders when needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
