Security Officer Grounds Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns and report conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entry points, badge activity, and/or visitor movement in accordance with post orders to help support authorized access and maintain orderly operations.
• Assist with incident reporting, directional support, and/or de-escalation during routine operations or critical situations while following Allied Universal standards and client-specific expectations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
