Security Officer General Duty

About the role

As a Security Officer General Duty in Mc Intyre, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. This role offers the chance to work with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, values teamwork, and acts with integrity every day.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Support access control activities and follow post orders related to visitor, vendor, and/or employee movement as assigned.
• Complete assigned reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and/or concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Patrol and emergency response experience.
• Access control knowledge.
